Wooden, Carved Cap Badge

Description

The KitShop has available by special order individually created wood FGH Cap Badges. These Badges are of exceptional quality and can be created from the very small to as large as 23 inches. They are available in Walnut, Cherry or Maple for a great choice of wood and colour. The badges are not stained, they are only oiled to bring out their natural colour and then sealed with a top coat. The Fort Garry Horse badge requires a normal 3 weeks from ordering, to delivery to the customer, as they are only manufactured on special order. Unique items (items that do not have a template previously made) may require a longer time frame from order to delivery.

The price for each badge will depend on the wood, the size and the finishing selected. Therefore each badge will need to be individually quoted before work can begin.

An example of pricing, on the following items that have a template, is as follows:

1. Walnut FGH Badge 12″ x 12″ oiled and sealed, the price is $190.00 CDN. (see photos, click to expand each photo to full size, to see the individual description)
2. Cherry FGH Badge 12″ x 12″ oiled and sealed, the price is $180.00 CDN. (see photos)
3. Maple FGH Badge 12″ x 12″ oiled and sealed, the price is $170.00 CDN. (see photos)
4. Each of the above FGH Badges if ordered unfinished (natural wood, no oil or top coat) would cost $30.00 less than the above prices. The unfinished product requires approximately 2 hours of hand sanding and oiling/sealing.
