The Fort Garry Horse Regimental Senate was established in 1967 for the purpose of generally directing and promoting of policy regarding Fort Garry Horse Family Entities and the perpetuation of the Regiment as a component of the Canadian Armed Forces.
The Senate shall be the senior governance body of the Regimental Family to ensure the Regiment is a viable entity, promoting Esprit de Corps, History and Traditions, Connection to Canadians, and to contributing to the well-being of all Regimental members past and present.
